Re: Power Supply for zBitx
I have a https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S4GPM66, which is a good 0-15V, 2A power supply, but also does test voltages, and is a great soldering station and reflow / shrink wrap heater too!

Re: Anyone got a ZBitX or SBitX connected to the Internet?

OK
No, assuming your shack and 'comfy bedroom' are behind the same home router, port forwarding is not required. Port forwarding is required to access your device behind the home router from the

Re: Anyone got a ZBitX or SBitX connected to the Internet?
Tricky, as most people have a home internet router, so the external IP address will be that. The method will be to use port forwarding. They port-forward a random port (say 3000) to <sBitx LAN IP>:22

Re: PSK31 overdriving audio on sBitx v3
Thanks for all the suggestions. Until about a month ago I was an inactive Ham for about 20 years. Learning the variety of digital modes has been a bit of a learning curve.

Re: PSK31 overdriving audio on sBitx v3
You might want to dial back the drive for any continuous signal digital mode like FT8 and PSK31. For both life of your? RF finals and signal clarity. The good news is that they? are very efficient,

Re: PSK31 overdriving audio on sBitx v3
Interestingly we have to do similarly even with icom7300 with normal USB-digital input sensitivity (about 50 on icom¡¯s scale)
I have to teach this to our winter field day team each year

Re: Power Supply Voltage
The v2 uses IRFZ24N FETs in the output stage, so it is more sensitive to higher voltage.
I have the v2 working and I have been using 12.5V from the beginning.
I also limit the current consumption,

Anyone got a ZBitX or SBitX connected to the Internet?
Howdy,
Long shot, probably, but wondering if anyone has a Z- or SBitX that is either online or can be put online at some prearranged time? Essentially, I¡¯d really like to see how usable the web

Re: Power Supply Voltage
The sBitx website has a document that describes how HFSignals calibrates/tests the sBitx radios before shipment. The very first line reads:
" The power supply should be on 13.8 "
I assume that you

Doug,
im not positive but I believe for the Sbitx v2 and v3 they recommend 12.5 volts input, but I¡¯m not positive. I hope I¡¯m correct, I hope this helps.

PSK31 overdriving audio on sBitx v3
I recently tried my hand at PSK31 on my new sBitx v3 with 64 bit software. Keep in mind, anything having to do with the digital modes is *very* new to me.
