Re: live reading of incoming voltage #sBitx
Maybe INA260 could be useful? It can measure both current and voltage using I2C.

Will this also work on the new zBitx?

Re: Differences between the sBitx and the zBitx
Amazing that the device can be offered AT ALL, particularly at this price. Special purpose design. Compromises have to be made to reach size, cost constraints. If not your cup of tea, then alter

Re: Differences between the sBitx and the zBitx
Sounds like it is much better for portable use than the sBITX. I don't know much about the RPI Zero 2W, can it do screen share like Real VNC like the sBITX? -- '72 Aaron K5ATG ( http://k5atg.com )

Re: Differences between the sBitx and the zBitx
The zbitx ix optimized for small size and lower power. 1. The board layout is RPI Zero 2W specific. It cannot take the larger RPI 4. Nor can it power it as it uses a linear low voltage drop regulator

Differences between the sBitx and the zBitx
Greetings all, beside the power output what are some of the other differences between the sBitx and the zBitx. Thanks John kg9dk

Re: sBitx testing process
... I have successfully got two versions of the sBitx working and I hardly use many of my other transceivers anymore. Even an FTDX-10 is just permanently 24/7 only set to 14,230 for SSTV monitoring

There are probably very few manufacturers of gear in this price range who make that much effort. :-) Have statistics been compiled on the spread of the results? For example, average values ??for

Re: zBitx RF output #zbitx
Duly noted. I got excited when I saw the proto FDIM presentation, 20W would really help with "compromise" setups. An "headless sBitx" would make a lot of sense in my opinion. Smaller and

Re: zBitx RF output #zbitx
Changing the smt driver transistors would be just one part, the pa tranformer as well as the LPF components are all rated for 10 watts or lower. It might be a better idea to use an outboard

Re: zBitx RF output #zbitx
I understand the option would imply the substitution of both the driver and output mosfets. Could be these be the default components, with the heat sink added only for operators wishing a higher RF

Re: zBitx RF output #zbitx
The driver section of the.zbitx had lower power than needed to drive the IRf510s. You could consider thr RD15VHF1 instead. [email protected]> wrote:

zBitx RF output #zbitx
I wish the final production of the zBitx will offer the option for the original 20W output with the IRF510. An external heat sink would hardly make any difference in portability and I think it

uBITX V6 AGC help and advice
Greetings fellow Earthicans! I sadly had to sell my uBITX V6 a few months months back to my friend in order to establish the funds to get me an sBITX. To my friend AGC is a huge thing with the uBITX.
