Aaron, The best thing to carry to the field is an L match. A variable cap, even the polyvaricon, and a tapped inductor should tune anything with a good match. - f [email protected]> wrote:

Yes, but the board sets (now called the basic kit) goes out onMonday. The fully assembled kits have mostly been shipped.

Or if you have worse SWR, make an easy tuner: https://youtu.be/rhlxZMEgRvo For QRP the plate distance does not need to be large. If you use only one band an end-fed wire could be even more easily
