Re: uBITX and ft8
JS8Call is a major upgrade to the FT8 type schemes. You can exchange actual content beyond ?FT8 call/grid/etc. And the msg control functions are amazing. Store and forward, acknowledgments, defined

Re: Bitx40 main board
Also, it sounds like you got a very early one with the analog VFO. If you are going to use a DDS (highly recommended!) then just remove the L4 inductor which is the yellow toroid right in the middle

Re: Bitx40 main board
You don't need the Raduino. You can use the QRP Labs VFO kit: https://qrp-labs.com/vfo.html I used one of these for a long time with mine, really liked it :) -- Ryan Flowers - W7RLF MiscDotGeek.com

Alex, Always best practice to have a low pass filter after the amplifier.? In my rig, the PA comes just before the LPF. It is already built. Dean

Re: EI9GQ 16 Watt Linear Amp Build #homebrew #linear-amp
You might want to consider putting band pass/low pass filter on the output - push-pulls are known for being "dirty" with third order harmonics. At 16 watts, I doubt you would get in too much trouble,
