Re: compile error
I think I see a problem...perhaps not THE problem, but a problem. EVERYONE: ??? Whatever is the project's INO primary file name (e.g., ubitx_v6.3_code.ino),??? which is the file that contains

Re: compile error
I don't understand. What is the Raspberry Pi for?? Also, what is "Arduino 2.1.0.5+dfsg2-4.1". If you are compiling on a Mac, what is the emulator program? Jack, W8TEE

Re: compile error
Bob, That log also shows a successful compile, but unsuccessful upload to the nano. Try changing the serial port the IDE is using. Reed

Re: compile error
Bob, I don't see a complier error for you either. However, yours does show a failure to upload the program to the nano: Is there another serial port you can try? Reed

Hello, BITX was release initially for experiment and education and currently you can find find a lot of information which are common to all BITX and currently provide a huge amount of information.

Re: New uBITX Ver. 6 Assembled Today
Ted, Thanks for that. Lots of experimental fiddly tuning with that, but with some effort, maybe will pay off. I notice that it didn't appear that he was able to get any useful WSPR results on 20M and

Thanks Jack, it uploads using the old bootloader the ch340 driver is installed.. Yes Reed, Its connection issue. I will need to increase the resistor values on the lines. Just me being stupid and

Re: compile error
Yep. That's why I think it's a connection issue of some kind. Brian, did you make sure that the panel you got uses the same ILI9341 chip for driving the screen? Is your screen's reset line pulled

Re: compile error
If it compiles but doesn't upload using the Old Bootloader, did you install the CH340 driver? If not, search for "CH340 Device Driver Download" and install the driver. Jack, W8TEE

Re: compile error
You might also try removing the nano from the radio entirely, then upload. If that programs successfully, but doesn't seem to work in the system, you'll probably want to start buzzing out connections.

Re: compile error
still doesnt work, uploaded Reeds pre-compiled hex and that just gives white screen too. May be to high a voltage to data lines ill run the pins through a 1k resistor to see if that helps.
