Re: Antuino manual
Hi, From the schematic you can see that the power input goes directly, and only, to an lm78l05acz voltage regulator.? The datasheet for that says it will take a maximum input voltage of 35VDC and and

Re: Antuino manual
Guess we need an #antuino hashtag. Thank you for the answer that it does NOT charge the batteries. Does anyone have the specs for the power input? Thank you, Chris Shaker KJ7BLE

Re: Antuino manual
Hi Christopher, The schematic shows that the ground connection for the battery pack comes from the power input jack and this becomes disconnected when a plug is inserted there.? So there is no

Re: Antuino manual
I appear to be having the same problem with my Antuino. It won't power up with the battery pack. I reflowed the solder joints. The diode appears to be operating like a Capacitor, ie - it conducts

I meant +1 to Evan's help, AND I am slow to post an agreeing comment that was in draft stage.

Re: CEC firmware upgrade issues...
+1 on what Evan kindly said, but I'm slow to post.? Use version 1.2 for your V5 hardware. It should default to V5. You've already mastered most of the common stumbling blocks. But, before one of us

I'm using the Arduino environment to upload the software. Took several attempts and only worked when I selected "old bootloader" when verifying Steven KM4WIP

Re: CEC firmware upgrade issues...
First off, what version of uBitx?? If it is not v3 or 4, then you need the 1.2 version of the CEC software.? The IF for the v5 boards is different and requires a different software version or

Re: CEC firmware upgrade issues...
If you downgrade back to the version you were happy with do you still have the same results?? That would at least eliminate propagation changes or hardware issues. -- www.bitxmap.com (

Re: CEC firmware upgrade issues...
Probably missed matching the firmware with your version of hardware as filters have changed in V5 of the hardware. Are you loading the hex files or compiling/linking the source code?

CEC firmware upgrade issues...
Hi all, First thanks for all the good advice on correctly wiring the mic. It worked and the uBitX project is progressing nicely. I made three contacts in TX,TN, and LA from VA. Every time I tune

Re: max PA PWR voltage ?
Thank you Allison for the answer. So if I put the PA voltage from 12v to maybe 16v it will not worth the pain regarding the final output power? -- 73's Adrien F4IJA https://www.qrz.com/db/F4IJA

Have you tried Memory Manager to see if anything changes? I had problems at first because my changes didn't seem to take. What I did: Power off Ubitx and connect USB cable from Ubitx to PC Start

Running th efinal at high power with 100ma bias means that at 12V your heating them at 1.2W no signal.? Bring that up to 24V and its 2.4W of heat. To run at higher voltages you need to insure the
