Re: Ted
Hi Ted. I briefly saw your screen layout and understand Sams questions. Yes your S meter is slightly off. It runs over the white lines that which are part of the image. Also the frequency dot Sam is

Re: Kit projects AGC install - extremely frustrated.
Mark, it is a DP3T on/on/on often referred to as a shorting switch.
?Jack, the schem we use is the same as nd6t's with the addition of a 5v reg and not as many decay setting options that's it. Once

Hi Ted,

Re: ubitx version 2 - substitute darlington for Q70 (MMBT3904) to increase stage gain?
Thanks, Tom -- that's what I'm seeing. Through the transverter, with an old HP 8660 synthesizer providing -140 dBm, I am just barely able to hear the synthesizer (so I think noise figure is OK),

I wish I could go, but have several reasons why I cannot.
The biggest Hamfest I have gone to is the Rochester NY one.

Hello Sam,
It would appear from your photo of the wiring that your fan is wired to suck air out of the case, rather than blow air on to the heat sinks.? Is this correct?
Thanks and 73

Re: Ubitx V5# CW Key not working# audio is harsh#
If you have selected one of the keyer modes (Iambic A or B) then the straight key will have no effect. Select straight key and all should be well.

Hi,
That's not a 2P3T switch.? With only six connections it can either be a 2P2T or a 3PST.

Is it possible that when the uBitx is receiving through the transverter the noise level will be greatly increased.?
At VHF and higher most of the noise comes from the RF preamp stage (rather
