Re: more questions
Sam
I would evaluate your uBITX to see if you need either feature.? See if you have any BCI interference, and if you did experience some I would be so tempted to check performance connected to

Re: Shaking my head in disbelief....
This exact filter is available from www.danssmallpartsandkits.net for $10 + postage. The PCB is 1x1.5 inches and the kit has all parts and extra parts to change the center frequency, if so desired.

Re: uBITX 4 Encoder
Thanks Mar. I'm not entirely sure what kind I have. But I guess experimentation is the best approach. I agree about having a separate switch. That might be something I implement.

Thanks, Carl. I actually had no idea what Philip was talking about and the "AGC kit" was just a guess.
Vagueness seems to be a necessary qualification for posting here. HI

This is a little off-thread --
With the advent of SMDs everywhere -- does anybody know of a CHEAP thermal

I know that you can get a thermal /IR videocam for several

Re: Shaking my head in disbelief....
Gordon,
I too built a triple 811 linear amplifier (when I was about 15 yrs old). It was grounded grid and the bifilar coil for the filaments was a tricky part - no toroids in those days. It had a
