Thank you for your response. I do not have a second receiver?to check it with. The relays do click when the PTT is pushed.

ubitx ver 4 for sale
After serious deliberation, I have decided to sell my ubitx transceiver.
I have done Raj's mods - the 45 Mhz filter inductors replaced by smd's, the new filter in front of the second mixer and the 2

I am afraid it is correct, although bothering. On 'USB bands' is the other
way around, it shows 700hz above. So be careful especially during contests
not to transmit outside the ham bands otherwise

Mark,
The 0.1 uF capacitor goes on the tuning pot between wiper and GND.
you can add a 100 pF capacitor in parallel with L7 to reduce the second harmonic.

I am replacing the v4 today with my v5 and will start with the cw test into
the dummy load on all bands.
My v4 on cw 20m band still has the issue with spurs which may be the relays

Re: How to connect ubitx microphone jack to soundcard output
You will have to remove R60 then you don't need another blocking cap. If you don't remove R60 then
you need another cap.

Jim and all,
I found this board as it came from hfsignals not passing my tests. Even at lowered power out.
Howerver when I reduced the drive by RV1 and increased the modulation level (mic) the

Re: Calibrating the Version 5.1
I know the calibration method changed from what is posted on the HFSignals website for the v.4 boards, so perhaps the new method applies to the v.5 boards. In the version 4 when you select calibration

I should have mentioned, do not put anything in the "CW Freq Adjust Value" box. That will add to the offset you have already selected when you set the CW Side Tone elsewhere.

This bothered me as well, as the TX is offset by the amount that you have set your CW tone for. I think it might have been better to offset the receive in CW mode, and Dr. Lee has provided that option

Re: How to connect ubitx microphone jack to soundcard output
There is a dc blocking cap in the ubitx circut, c60, you don't need another. I used a pair of audio transformers to isolate the radio signals, one on the mic side and one on the input side to the

Thanks k5ess
Frequency rolloff can be calculated using standard formulas for an RC network. Good practice for the radio amateur. Depends on the resistance of the input circuit you were driving
