Re: Newbee needs some BITX40 assembly info
Dennis, Sounds like you have an ubitx. Please verify your kit model. My Bitx40 doesn't have these extra parts but my ubitx does. Big difference in wire up instructions. Paul KL7FLR

Re: DAC/ADC for PI, might be useful here
Just to add I received my Smarti PI Touch case for original PI Touchscreen I bought few years back and haven’t used because it was flemzy and awkward. This new case not only mounts screen with PI

Re: Voltages at test points on V4 boards #bitx40help #calibration
Hi This spreadsheet of expected voltages is useful, but is there a table of expected voltages for the actual test point numbers?? TP1, TP2, etc.? This would be even more?useful as, on the v4 board,

Newbee needs some BITX40 assembly info
My BITX40 v 4c kit has three resistors and a diode loose in the package of connectors and other parts. I have not been able to find any instructions as to where these resistors should be installed.

Re: CLK 0
Jim, Why a separate AM detector? When the reference oscillator is calibrated then you just tune to the carrier frequency and it is zero beat. I've been listening to broadcast on the BITX since I

Re: V5 and JackAl
Dave is correct in that JackAl does support CAT control...yet. My guess is that some people are working on that. Jack, W8TEE

DAC/ADC for PI, might be useful here
Hello, A lot of folks here not only have ubitx, bitx, SDR, etc.... this post may be of use for some. If you have Raspberry PI and use for SDR or other things a company now sells a 24bit ADC / DAC

Re: V5 and JackAl
Brutus, Right now, to my knowledge, the stock JackAl firmware does not support rig (CAT) control. There's plenty of memory left, and I know of 1 party that's working on it, and I'm sure there's very

Pat, They are talking about the latest ?BITX version.? Judging by the price it looks like you are talking about the BITX40.? Either way the choice is right on the order page ? -- www.bitxmap.com

Re: has anyone built this kit AGC from Amateur Radio Kits?
I should also add that using a 2N7002 rather than a 2N2222 would be worthy of a trial; that's what the popular ND6T design uses. Once ready to destroy the new V5 kit just received, I plan to build
