Re: uBix - transmit clicking when Mic inserted
Listen to see if the xmit relay is cycling. Take a paper towel tube and place it over each relay to determine if one is cycling. If so, look on the schematic to see what that relay controls.? If

Re: uBix - transmit clicking when Mic inserted
That is what happens to all three of my ubitx radios. The work around that I have used is to not plug in mic when turned on. Welcome from N.E. Mo. 73 Dave

Re: Mini PA für my uBITX #ubitx
The heat dissipation on 24V really is high - i stick to 13.8V and 30W on the meter. The PA is still to be analyzed regarding spurs - this is going to be done in the near future.

With the Raduino otherwise disconnected, can you plug its USB port into a USB line from your computer or a cell charger? That will power it up on 5v and you can see if it is displaying and acting

Playing more with the uBitX, currently “breadborded” (wired up with alligator clip jumpers) on the desk. I found that it is going into transmit during the calibration phase, and that appears to be

Re: Mini PA für my uBITX #ubitx
A consideration here is to wonder if any spurs, etc., get amplified with the amp. May need more LPF's to keep it within FCC specifications. Just a thought. Bob —
