Re: uBITX microphone suggestions
If you can get microphones made for the G.E. Delta and Rangr series, they come with a preamp built in. Just wire the connector of your choice onto the cable. I bought a batch of mikes for those

Re: uBITX microphone suggestions
If you do not like working on the V3 board you could add up toa 2.2k dropping resistor in the mic in series with + voltage line to electret element. As to low audio a little amp or compressor amp in

Re: uBITX microphone suggestions
11v seem a lot. To have a reasonable average power in SSB I followed the advice by Howard Fidel in my vers. 3 ubitx: ' Change R63 to 24 ohms. The earlier rev boards had 100 ohms there, and V3 has 47.

Re: Harmonics and Relay Replacement
Given that the main problem is the layout, although better relays seem to help, has anyone tried shielding the relays from the PCB using copper tape between the board and relays, soldered to the

Re: Harmonics and Relay Replacement
You nailed it with the rework. I probably wouldn¡¯t go through that effort although I don¡¯t mind, but different relays that can keep the issue at bay seems like a no brainer if you don¡¯t want to

Re: Version 4 High Pitch Audio Oscillation #ubitx #ubitx-help
If it's one of the ceramic resonators on the Nano, I doubt messing with the BFO will be much of a fix. Move the BFO more than a few hundred Hz and the rig will no longer work properly. (You could try
