Re: Pa Drivers Biasing
6.154 is a 6M PA to about the 300mW level using 2n5109s. The Fedback and bias is 2.2k, base to ground is 470 and the emitter degeneration is 3.6ohms. I have a radio using that exact circuit and it

Re: Simple spur fix
Warren, we already know that you would like to rain on this parade at every possible chance. You will do a whole lot more good if you simply acknowledge that we already KNOW that and that you think

Re: Simple spur fix
Thanks Raj. I will pursue any tests you request but I have given up on this version of uBitx. I only ordered the filter to try because of the miraculous results reported. But I am really not

Re: Simple spur fix
Raj As requested. I have included a peak table to help in identifying the spurs. 970.jpg conditions: Yellow trace: 1 KHz audio drive = 15 mVRMS, RV1 set to 2 watts out, R27 attenuator set to -1 dB.

Warren, Reduce your RBW to 10KHz and VBW to 1KHz and let me see a screen. With 300K many spurs will get combined. Raj

Re: uBitx v3 #ubitx #ubitx-help
Arnab jee, Yourself have rightly pointed to this link.http://ubitx.net/tag/tda2822/ In my opinion there is no need to swap to LM386. The regulator mod could well be seen. Another issue troubling

Re: Pa Drivers Biasing
Just for fun and to try some different output transformers on the PA chain, I built (dead bug) the Q90 and associated components test circuit ..Some will recognize it as part of Fig. 6.154 from EMRFD

Re: uBitx v3 #ubitx #ubitx-help
Dear OM Sharmaji, Thanks for your reply and help. In uBitx.net website , using a 9v regulator to supply to 2822 has appeared. Thinking to do that. Also can divert the audio to a LM386 or PAM module.

Re: Right-sided relay harmonic attempted fix for v3/4 ubitx
Except, even at a fast nerve impulse speed of around 100 m/s the cat would meow in LA about 11 hours later. The uBITX does much better than this. Tom, wb6b
