Re: micro bitx: strong signals from broadcasting stations
That can be removed with a high pass filter especially if you don't mind for the 160meters band. It can be done with three small toroids and high voltage ceramic capacitors. Just put externally. You

Re: Github's future?
Fortunately, the way git (the software used by github) is structured, it doesn't really need a server! git is a distributed source control system. that said, it does have server mode that can quickly

Re: The new uBITX boards are here
Jamie, Check on ebay for old GE and Motorola communication speakers. I found several of $6. You can either use them as an external speaker or pull the speaker out and mount it inside your case. The

Re: RF power chain mods and improvements..
Arv, This is how I've always operated my linear amplifiers. Tune for max in CW and then mark that level on the oscilloscope. When in SSB never go above that level with your modulation. It's a pretty

Re: Github's future?
Corporations are not evil, they're indifferent. That makes them quite dangerous indeed. Microsoft hasn't changed all that much from their adopted philosophy of "embrace, extend and extinguish" since

You have to have 12V in the RX biDi amps Hakan. Q10,11,12 and 30,31,32 must have 12v on rx, if not I suspect the relay K1, please check! Raj

Re: Bitx 40 source file
Hex files scare me. Nope just unpacked fhe zip file and tried to open the .ino file like I did before.
By kj6etl · #51289 ·
Re: Bitx 40 source file
Did you upload a hex file or actually compile the source code? There's a big difference. Jack, W8TEE

Re: Github's future?
I certainly would not change from Git. It is a standard that is not tied to GitHub. I also have an account on BitBucket?https://bitbucket.org/product?BitBucket and GitHub both have free accounts.

Where is your IDE installed? I see a libraries directory right above the sketch directory, but I don't see all of the other files that should be in the compiler directory. I think your installation of

Not really. Read the popup carefully.? It names the INO file raduino_diag_v3.ino and also names the directory holding that file raduino_diag_v3. As I said before, the directory and the INO file MUST

Re: digital modes - how to connect computer line out
It's called a TRRR connector for the new laptops and probably iPhone. 4 conductors. Mine has the plug and two short audio cables with 3 conductor plugs.

And don't forget to disconnect the orange wire (PTT). The audio cable from the PC doesn't like it. PTT by CAT works great.

I compiled it with IDE 1.8.5 without issue. You do realize you MUST place the INO file in a subdirectory that has the same name, right? That is, if your working directory on C is Arduino, you MUST lay
