Re: Nextion Display
Hello Allen, It has its own IDE and commands are pretty simple to use , since everything is serial. Learn by examples and YouTube Tutorial regards charudatt-vu2upx Sent: Sunday, June 3, 2018 9:09 PM

Re: Nextion Display
Peter, I did join the group, but all that¡¯s discussed is the use of this display in DMR use. Hope the interest spreads in other areas also. regards charudatt-vu2upx Sent: Sunday, June 3, 2018 11:08

Since most of the circuits are bidirectional, and you can hear birdies, is still sounds like the antenna is not connecting to the receiver. Check relays K1 and K3 are not energized. Either one being

Al, many thanks for posting this. Wiring that up is the next step in my project and I was getting ready to look into this. You saved me the effort. I'm thinking of routing the hi level audio off the

Hi, I just finished my uBITX build. I was extremely careful with the wiring and double checked everything. The weather is extreme warm for the season here in Sweden. That's probably (;-) why I got a

I just looked for spurs on the frequencies you mention, and all the spurs I see are nearly -60db from the carrier level. Is that a problem? Howard

What i really love with this sort of display: You could change the design and the whole UI without touching any code on the Arduino (or whatever board you are using). The Nextion Editor is not the

how find wiring ssm2167 on ubitx
Hello Jacob, Thank you for your answer, I just have a little problem, I do not know the technique of the arduino well and I do not want to be silly, it's the same for the module ssm2167, if you can

Yes you could but make sure you get the levels going to the TT right. There are other arduino based VFOs that could do the same work. Either way your rewriting the code as the raduino does things that

Re: RF power chain mods and improvements..
Above 22.5 MHz, a HPF cuts in with a threshold just below 22.5MHz, again killing off all the unwanted mixer products.<<< Sounds plausable but then try a typical 7 pole HPF or LPF and see what it looks

Barry, just out of curiosity, what current and voltage do you run when doing WSPR? I sit at around 36 volts at 1.4 amps, and the heatsink I use gets a bit too warm to touch unless I run the fan which

Re: RF power chain mods and improvements..
No.? The filter in use for 18mhz is the one used for 14mhz and has a lower cutoff around 20-21mhz and the firmware selects the 35mhz cutoff filter for 21mhz or higher. They have no impact on low

Re: UBITX. FT8 heat sink requirements

FT8 does not have a heavy duty cycle. The other modes DO. I have a small 5v fan with a dropping resistor to quieten it, and the long duty cycle WSPR works fine.
