Re: KD8CEC firmware and basic Manager settings #ubitx-help
Hi Nikos,? Do you recall how much image suppression you saw?? By "ear", my radio seems to have quite poor receive image suppression. Changes to the USB and Master calibration values aren't having

I had one without the wx and failed anyway after half an hour. It was marked with an M.

I agree, only ssb/cw is all is needed. Keep the quality of TX of Ubitx increasing the average output like the MFJ ssb transceivers.

Re: Electrical scheme last version #bitx40help
Thanks, Jack but this is the assembly scheme, I need the wiring diagram like the one attached! ? Maybe with the translator I explained myself badly :( ? Thanks Sergio

Re: No Speaker Audio #ubitx
Well that's disappointing, I have the WX branded one. Is there a cross pin test you would suggest we check to verify? thanks!

Re: ND6T AGC implementation for uBIT-X
I¡¯m very interested, particulary in the through hole and with perhaps components. ?However shipping to the UK might be costly.

Re: mono band 2 gmeters rig based on the micro BITx circuit #ubitx #2meters
A 2 metre SSB rig would be a great thing to build. My Yaesu 2m SSB is now very old with nothing new to replace it with, except a shack in a box.

Would be worth an extra buck if it included a pop fix such as this: ? ??http://ubitx.net/2018/03/05/updated-circuit-from-va7at-for-removing-audio-pops/ K eep in mind that some may wish to use this

I just buried 32 radials for a flagpole antenna I am installing for HF. I have an MFJ loop antenna in my attic as well as several vhf and uhf antennas. I have a camo tri-band for 2 meter 1.25 and 70

Re: mono band 2 meters rig based on the micro BITx circuit #ubitx #2meters
The (expensive) vacuum capacitor isn't really necessary at reasonable power levels. My 40 meter loop has a regular variable capacitor and I have no problem running 100W on SSB or FT-8. The design for

You can change the value of C7 to 1.0uF. X7R material, 0805 size, there are some nice Kemet with low ESL/ESR ( C0805C105K4RACTU). (

Got the "OK" from Don and Ion so let me see what I can come up with and the schematics and board layout look fine to me. The only thing I would change is make C7 a 1uF cap. This will be a SMT

for Ken and Steve, if you want compact antenni you really need to look into loop antenni, it's amazing what you can accomplish with some old Cable TV coax and an adjustable vacuum capacitor.? or soft

I wouldn't even care about AM. AM operation greatly increases the complexity of thermal design. SSB would be all I would want - especially with a good receiver! tim ab0wr "Ken Hansen"
