Yes - i agree - Dupont jumpers are meant for hacking. Good to make a point
then make permanent. To this day my BITX40 as pictured is still in use on

If this ticking occurs when you change frequency, it's a symptom dealt with in the Bitx-40: provide a hefty reservoir cap *before* the regulator of the Raduino, combined with some resistance to lower

Great build. A tip on your vol knob, just elongated the hole in the direction you want to move to knob, you can go a fair bit as the knob it self will hide the extra hole so to speak...
