Re: Raduino oscilators. 33mhz and 57mhz. Documentation says one thinng, but this is what I measured.
My Raduino reference was not when it arrived, and my BFO certainly was not (for my ears, at least). It worked OK but I enjoy being able to tune in any of the WWV stations at their correct frequency

Re: RD transistors, unobtanium?
I seem to recall the IRF-520 being the closest IRF sub for the IRF-510. Never tried it tho. Last time I ordered 510s I also ordered 520s just in case.

This BFO calculate code may be all that is needed but do isn't it possible that Ashhar also may use a master clock calibration routine when he aligns uBITX raduinos in the factory ?

Re: RD transistors, unobtanium?
RD series are still available.? Local suppliers may be the issue but here in USA its widely
available.? They work ok for 12V only designs.
Regarding IRF530, it can be used and does work at 30mhz

Re: New for pi-day, the Rasberry Pi 3 B+
For performance the Asus Tinkerboard has it seriously beat.? Not only faster 1800mhz but twice the ram 2gb.
All the sam IO and hardware still there and same form factor so it fits in the same

I would have to think he is using the incorrect word. By "trivial" perhaps he means "easy" ? Trivial , to us, would mean unimportant. Not sure how easy it would be to do this, but I'm thinking this is

Re: Ubitx audio debug question
Thanks Tim, My headphones are stereo without a switch. Sounds like using a mono jack and mono plug for the headphones may be the best?thing to do.
Then?using mono plugs on speakers?will work OK.?

Re: Raduino oscilators. 33mhz and 57mhz. Documentation says one thinng, but this is what I measured.
Jerry, you are correct as long as you don't alter your BFO frequency. Many of us do, in order to maximize our audio performance.
In my sketch, I therefore set my lower sideband value as my BFO and my

Re: Received my uBitx!
Good luck finding a 7509.? ?(Did you mean LM7805?)
There are web reports of clone chips out there that blow if over 7v.
Don't know about the WX, but 5 or 6v would be safer than 9v.
