Re: Hard core uBITx developers
Very nice work John I have been thinking of doing something similar, I’ll be interested to see how your sketch works. I’m a Arduino hacker too it helps to understand how these things work.

Thanks for the measurements Glenn.
Have you connected your driver stages to the finals in the uBitx and re-measured, or are you going to duplicate the final stage outside of the unit, or replace the

Help Mike,
Great idea.?
For my part I don't know if it's hard code developer or more mad hacker, but it is fun.
Here is a picture of the latest addition, an L-Network ATU built in the uBitx case,

Re: uBitx Manager for Mac?
In your .wine/dosdevices directory you will add a soft link to the USB port like this:
sudo ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 ~/.wine/dosdevices/com1
This link is permanent, so you only have to do it once.
Hope

Hello Ian,
BPF are working ok now! As you can check IK2YRA on wsprnet.
It takes me a while to found a delta between Master calibration
(175000)and WSPR calibration (149000) i write it to the ubitx

Re: uBitx Manager for Mac?
Last time I checked, it was just the Windows .exe, which can be made to work on LINUX with Mono. I tried Mono on my Mac, but it did not work. I also tried Wine. It does come up, but I have no idea how

Don
I haven't tried a straight key but with the original firmware, I was having problems with erratic keying when using a paddle. ?Since upgrading to the KD8CEC I haven't noticed a problem. ?

The freed up analog pin would be quite useful, I'm thinking SWR/PWR.
I'd guess most uBitx users don't use the internal iambic keyer, will be several sources of
firmware if they want it, perhaps using

Re: RD16HHF1 power curve flattening...some
A simple trick to buck the lower frequency gain is to use a low value
capacitor in the emitter bypass of the predriver. The emitter will see a
100 ohms resistor at low frequncies and as the reactance

Re: Complaint Department
The added advantage of using ptt as the straight key is that i can tune up
the antenna without having to carry a key to the field.
There is another issue that it will solve as well. It is as follows :
