Re: raduino problem
My latest kit (third) Raduino was acting weird with the last two digits jumping around even with fixed resistors for the tuning pot. additionally, the display would jump into calibration mode all by

Far as I know, the code you pointed to: ?https://github.com/afarhan/bitx40 ( https://github.com/afarhan/bitx40 )?.? is what has been programmed into every Raduino that's shipped since the beginning

That's probably not the code you want. You'd be better off looking at Allard's code: ? ??https://github.com/amunters/bitx40 ( https://github.com/amunters/bitx40 ) Many many more features and a few

I thought the screen was pretty ugly, but i thought that those colors were probably just some "default" theme or something. Thanks for the tip.? -Rob

Re: W8TEE B40 real time clock connections #w8tee
There was also another thread (sorry, don't recall number) detailing the real fix: the "complement" operator (~) before each color 'int' value. It would seem some sketches had that operator removed.

Thanks Rob, That's exactly what I was missing. BTW, it looks like the colors on your display are inverted. Others have encountered the same problem, depending on the display. For example, see Jack's

Re: W8TEE B40 real time clock connections #w8tee
Okay, I figured it out. I was close. The AD9850 only uses the MOSI because it is writing the frequency on the bus. The RTC uses the MISO because it is reading the clock information from the bus. On

Hi Loren - thanks for the information on the cap. I don't have one in and it seems to work fine. I'll keep an eye on it though. I have been looking at how to hook up the RTC and connect it to the SPI

Re: If the IRF-510 is blown will the radio output anything at all?
I finally tested the in-line amps from the PA-PWR1, and assuming the wires/probes were making a connection, I got nothing when the ptt was pressed. I assume this means the IRF-510 is actually blown?
