And the LPF's a lump in your antenna feed. No bandswitches.

Re: Multiband bitx
I looked around some on the interwebs, not impressed by the ssb6.1 Be aware that you are buying exciter and ?vfo and linear and lpf's separately. And that instructions are pretty much non-existent.

Re: ?Raduino v1.26 (eliminate carrier burst, improved calibration method) released
Bruce, I believe the howl is not related to the issue of the carrier burst. The howl is probably caused by oscillations of the LM386. Not by audio feedback from the speaker to the mic. The pop from

Re: If the IRF-510 is blown will the radio output anything at all?
It means you are measuring from one end pin to the other end pin of R136. The third pin in the middle is best seen from the back of the board. Measuring from the middle pin to ground should be 0 ohms

Re: ?Raduino v1.26 (eliminate carrier burst, improved calibration method) released
Allard, I loaded sketch 1.26 today and noticed no change to the carrier burst problem. In fact, it might have been a bit worse if anything. I previously had to change from a speaker-mic to a separate

Re: Help with troubleshooting Bitx40 - no transmit. #bitx40help
I'd guess those figures are more like 102ma and 230ma. And that you are not be including the Raduino in those figures. You might look over the rest of these links once you've sorted out the above

Yes, I was wondering about using a needle to get the turns nice and tight. I was also wondering, when they refer to a bifilar winding if you are supposed to make a twisted pair prior to winding on the

Hi Brent, I use #43/61-2403 cores and winding with a small tween wire. I can put 5 windings of 5 turns for one xfrm in my H-Modo Mixer. What I do I use a needle to squize turns into the holes, to make

Thanks John That's what I figured. I tried it with the number 30, and the amp works, but output is low. I'll try to make a different core. The instructions specify 5 bifilar turns on the primary, and

Re: Jbot amplifier
Brent: Probably not. A viable alternative to the small "pignose" core is a slightly larger one two of the same size mounted back to back, or using four FT37-43 or FT37-61 cores cemented as two pairs
