What OS (Windows, Linux, OS-X, Android, etc.) are your running?
Which IDE version are you running (1.8 is the latest)?
On Linux....disconnect your USB cable, on a terminal enter

Re: Pins and colors
Sometimes you need to install the drivers that are distributed with the IDE. Look in the drivers subdirectory if the IDE directory and run the *.EXE that applies to your system.

Re: Am radio stations
Radio Havana broadcasts a monstrously powerful, ridiculously wide bandwidth
signal out Cuba on 6.0 MHZ. The 2nd harmonic of that frequency is 12 MHZ,
which is the same frequency as the IF stage. I've

Steve,
No, the Bit40 has not changed, so you do it if you want AGC circuit.

Re: Am radio stations
Yes, exactly same here in The Netherlands.
As there are no broadcast stations in that part of the band, then these
MUST be images.
These images are simply inherent to the BitX design.
One way to

Re: VU2ESE AGC Schematic redrawn
Does this audio age circuit apply to my very recently purchased new BITX40? Is this a message or instruction to add or change something in what I am about to assemble? Thank you! -Steve K7EW

Re: Am radio stations
In ITU regions 1 and 3, the section above 7200 is allocated to SW broadcast.
Only in Region 2 (Americas) the section 7200-7300 is allocated to amateur
radio.
So if you're sometimes receiving SW

Re: Pins and colors
To add - plug the RADUINO directly into the computer. If you're using any
sort of hub, that tends to muck things up. Finally, if your default upload
speed is 115200, drop it to 9600. That solves a lot

Re: Pins and colors
you need to get board type nano and comm port correct. In my environment,
when I pick the comm port screen PnP finds the correct one every time.
I keep the Bitx off, and power through the USB.

Yes same here in US. Shortwave radio stations either Asian or Spanish language speaking a.m. stations show up here at night due to propagation.
