Re: Raduino_v1.13 with scan function released
Like I said, I am just now seriously thinking about implementing Allard's enhanced functions. As an example I didn't know what you meant about the "analog oscillator" at first, until I looked back and

Re: Building my own ubitx - question about mixers and mixer transformers
Thanks, Arv and Jerry, both very helpful.
My application is to use uBitx as IF for a UHF transverter (and this project is basically a learning exercise for me), so the transmit chain isn't going to

Re: Spurious RF at beginning of transmission
Hi Joe,
That's a good cure for the RX thump, but it doesn't deal with the TX spur
that is about 60 mS wide.

No it is Metric. The shaft I have on the Non Threaded version is "D" shaped and 6MM.
The non threaded bushing is 7MM.

Re: W8TEE TFT/VFO Board from FDIM talk
That is a great price on the Mega 2560 Pro Mini...better than my quantity 25 price! On the encoder, make sure you buy one with a threaded shaft, otherwise it's almost zero fun mounting them unless you

Re: Encoder
The mounting nut is a 7 x .75 mm nut which must be very rare and expensive since most of the encoders are shipped without mounting hardware. Most miniature toggle switches use the same size

Re: W8TEE TFT/VFO Board from FDIM talk
That is NOT the right Arduino. That is the Nano Pro Mini, which should cost less than $2. Essentially, it's a Nano, but without the convenience of the USB connector, which makes it a PITA to program.

Re: Spurious RF at beginning of transmission
Hi,
I think PTT noise is an issue which most everyone if not all have noticed.
There are several solutions. I finally decided on a circuit which uses a
FET and transistor to cure the problem, I have

Hi Ken
That’s not the correct board…that’s a ATmega 328, not a 2560

Re: Conflicting information
FWIW, I only program my Arduino's when powered by the USB cable. You need the cable anyway to download the code back to the Arduino.
