zBitx macro selection?
I can't find how to select different macros on the zBitx, or for that matter in the terminal app display. I want to add some macros, and be able to select them for default at power up of the rig when

Re: New zBitx - New User - CW operation
I just installed Karl K5KHK's changes that add a Shutdown command to the Menu, as well as include Jody's K3JZD's CW fix. This makes for a very usable CW rig. I also "discovered" how to operate from a

Re: ZbitX replacement knob?
To fix encoders with detents is straightforward. Unclip the cover, remove it and the shaft, push down on the detent spring, and reassemble.

Re: zbitx gps module
A USB GPS would work, you could set it up as you would on an RPi on its own, I imagine. The TTL GPS *could* work if the zBitx hardware isn't using the TTL Serial pins on the RPi Zero 2W, I don't know

Re: zbitx gps module
Ed, New user here.? Got mine at Hamvention. The cool thing about the zBitx (among many) is that it's running on a fully functional (as far as I know) Raspberry Pi, thus, you can pretty much do

Would love to see some close-ups of your elevation setup with the linear actuator! What material did you use for the elements on your yagis? I¡¯m on the same journey right now. 73 de W0ZF

Re: Up and Running Fully Portable
Having fun with mine as well.?? I did not bother to try the OTG adapter at all, but I've been doing stuff with various RPis for a while so I had several of the necessary USB and mini HDMI adapters

Re: Safe to buy?
I wasn't talking about that situation, but you might be inadvertently pointing out why it is not the perfect POTA/SOTA solution: should you have to supply 3.5A at 7.2V = 25W to a POTA radio to make 5W
