OK the hardware version is v3, when you turn it on it says which firmware version. Did you just buy it from the manufacturer? Then I think it might be v3.021 or something similar. If you have a spare

I have not familiarised myself with this new one, but a common problem is the barrel jack input......ensure you have the correct centre pin sized jack or you wont get connection.....so easy to get

USB-C with PD are a better solution as they are less likely to be producing noise. However, you should note that the power bank has to be big enough to provide 3 A @ 9V.
