Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered
Hi Andy, Here is my LTSpice simulation of the V6 mic preamp: Only the transistor and two resistors should be needed for the modification.? The bias for the new transistor comes from the existing

Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered
Andy, C4 is to suppress RF from getting into mic line. Commercial rigs also include a series inductors. Some have 300Hz LC filter at the input. Raj

Re: js8call no transmit V3 64bit
JJ, I would gladly help with your wiki documentation on a limited basis if I knew how. Is there a wiki on how to use wiki? At this point, I would probably make it worse, but I am willing to learn and

Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered
Maybe this will work as well.? Both this buffer and the previous one from Skelton can be DC coupled by placing them between the Collector of Q6 and the positive side of C63. I'll breadboard these

Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered
According to LTspice... (Famous last words?) Here's one potential solution.? It adjusts RE on the Q6 amp from 1K + the 47 Ohm swamping resistor, to a 270 Ohm resistor.? C62 is deleted.? A buffer

Re: sBitx V3, (PSK,RTTY,Olivia,MFSK) And More, Fldigi, Short How-To
George, on my sBitX V3 64bit (field day release), using the pull-down List to change frequencies (see the image) causes the system to "hang" or stop dead. No audio, the spectrum display is frozen. I

I know, for me, the understanding of how information is stored and retrieved on this forum/chat/email string/data base thing, makes it necessary for me to make notes as I go. This, however I have

Re: js8call no transmit V3 64bit
David, we'll see it there's enough of an interest by the "owners" of the system. In the meantime I'm writing what I discover for myself but that's not comprehensive enough for full documentation.

I for one, would love to have the data consolidated as well. I dont run the non-native programs because I don’t understand enough about it to figure it out. That is why i only run the native FT8

Re: js8call no transmit V3 64bit
The issue, Gyula, is that the information is scattered across so many messages and various wikis. There were 252 V3 64bit messages the last time I looked. You have to have just the right search terms

Re: js8call no transmit V3 64bit
Of course it is. The solution depends on small things. At first glance, in my writing, the audio path is provided by Loopback_1. You can check it, because without it you won't have any output sound.
