I whipped this up.. Need to figure out the routing of USB Mic to it now..
I believe all future development should focus on the USB audio interface since there is a wide variety of USB audio devices

If you want to use the previous *sbitx_sound.c* from 3.01 or make any other changes to the source code, then you need to run *./update* not ./build sbitx.
Reason is because the Ft8library

I added this modification to my radio. and it works vert well.
I did need to turn the sox level up to 50 for my headset but other than that it is a very straight forward and useful add on

Nah I'm good man.. sorry. I thought you had mentioned that in the previous build that you were getting I2C errors and had turned off the ATTiny 85? i2c

Try this.. I am using a USB sound card on my sBitx64bit and was able to amplify the receive audio using sox..
sudo apt-get install sox
arecord -D "plughw:CARD=Loopback,DEV=1" -f cd | sox

I put my rig into a dummy load, and the sbitx now hears !!
Tried CW and sending FT8 from the Yaesu, and the sbitx decodes..
Next to get the PA bias set for xmit.

No, the Wolfson codec needs to be present to start.
You can verify by starting a terminal window, changing to the sbitx directory, and issuing ./sbitx.? The errors will be displayed in the terminal
