Note that the update script changes the working directory back to /home/pi/sbitx
So, if you had created a separate directory to experiment with some code from the sbitx github, the update script is

Re: An update to the sbitx software - v 3.02
Excellent!
Works fine. But one odd problem is that when sending FT8 from sBitx and from Wsjtx it starts with a loud crack in the loadspeaker. (Sidetone in CW is 5)
Any solution?

Thank-you for that feedback, I will have to see if I can borrow one that has the capability, my astron does not.? I fear replacing again will cause problems with the pads lifting, so I will wait

I see you closed the cmake PR.? I also chose not to use that particular approach to using cmake.? If you look at the dev_main branch in the n1ai sbitx-mainline repo on github you can see the commits

Hi Gyula.
You identified the issue! Thank you! I replaced *sbitx_sound.c* from my v3.0 snapshot in v3.02 then recompiled with *./build sbitx* No more ALSA sound errors and the audio glitch we

All of the connectors on the uBitx have been Dupont style.? I have used non-keyed connectors in place of the provided keyed connectors.? I bought the connectors on Amazon, which most likely

Hi Evan, you are right, I forgot to mention that it is a Ubitx V6 from HF Signals.? Unfortunately they were not put on the PCB.? I only have P1 and P2 soldered on PCb.

Re: An update to the sbitx software - v 3.02
Peter,
So first rename the currently used folder, e.g. to sbitxv3 or whatever you are currently using. Then after that:
git clone https://github.com/afarhan/sbitx
cd sbitx
./build sbitx
then I copy

Re: An update to the sbitx software - v 3.02
Peter,
Yes, it must be done within the sbitx directory.
I don't use the update, because then the previous version is lost, I keep it until I see that everything works fine.
That's why I clone the

Re: An update to the sbitx software - v 3.02
JJ - W9JES,
When I tested pull requests, I left this last. It was #69 that made the change in sbitx_sound.c. As far as I know, it is to eliminate the occasional error by rebooting.
The error was that

Re: An update to the sbitx software - v 3.02
I tried the "./update" again (1015z today) and same result.? Both the terminal and the sbitx program report "v3.0". It seems to be running OK.
Gyula HA3HZ suggests to do "./build" from the terminal

Re: V3 versus V2 SBITX Board - What are the differences?
I had this with my v2, I replaced the bias pot with a 10 turn 10k and it
was a much smoother adjustment. Don't know why they don't fit them anyway
with the setting being so critical? G0RCL.
