Re: Help with BitX40 Ver 2 #bitx40help
I assume you are looking at Allard's mod to the Bitx40 for driving the BFO from the si5351 instead of the analog

Help with BitX40 Ver 2 #bitx40help
I have a completed BITX40 - Ver.1.?I¡¯ve decided to upgrade to Ver.2.?The instructions call for the center of a piece of coax to be attached to pin *6* of *T4*.?When I look at that coil, I see the

Re: Real or Clone - Nano survivability, any real difference?
Some of the Nano failures reported here can be attributed to not enough protection on the IO pins. For example, a couple pins going out to a keyer may as well be protected from static discharge with

Re: I2C Signal meter HEX file?
No, not an odd clone.? In your other thread on Nano Clones, we learned that the photo above shows the contact pins soldered in at the maker's on the side normally used in the market and that we, in

Real or Clone - Nano survivability, any real difference?
OK, since neither ones' choice of motor oils nor the odds on the Eagles vs. Cowboys are controversial enough, here's one:?? Have any of my fellow uBitx / Bitx40/20? owners experienced a different

Re: 2N2222A getting super hot
Hi, Silicon sensors like in cameras can see infrared down to about 1um wavelength. To measure temperature, sensors and lenses that can work down to around?8¨C15 ?m are needed. But, fortunately

Re: bitx40 repair - any signal level tips?
If you want to have a multi-turn pot, you get to find your own darn source. Stock rig had a 1 turn pot. Lots of discussion in this forum from the first half of 2017 on how to get that stock code to

Re: bitx40 repair - any signal level tips?
Adrian, The si5351 on the Raduino drives that "DDS1" cable from a CMOS driver through a series DC blocking cap. Should see about 3v pk-pk there when you unplug the cable. Your 20-30mv seems low to me

bitx40 repair - any signal level tips?
hi! I'm repairing a bitx40 that a friend has given me. Initially it was a fun wiring disaster and busted raduino board. Now that that's ok, I'm looking for some basic signal level tips to make sure

Brian, The regulator is a big 3 pin TO220 part hanging off the side of the Raduino. The display and the Arduino Nano clone plug into the Raduino. These 3 previous posts are all talking about how to

Ok thanks I will check that, but first I have to identify the 5v reg. :).? If I had to guess I would say it is on the board connected to the arduino and not on the arduino itself correct?
