I would expect different machines to use different COM ports. If I compile for a Nano, it's COM4. For a Teensy, its COM6. I would not be surprised by different COM ports. You can use the Control Panel - Device Manager to see how the ports are allocated.

Thanks. Prusa i3 Mk3. Highly recommended. Google Prusa Printers. They are a Czech firm. I built it from a kit. It took a day or so but instructions very clear. You can buy assembled too. Good luck!

Thanks guys, I'll try again (and with a different mini USB cable also).? Pretty sure it's not the cable as I was able to reload the stock firmware.? Will spend some time with the memory manager of other add ons.

I doubt if usb port 3 is the acutal port where your ubitx is located. If you disconnect the cable does the port go away.

I have a win 10 computer that sometimes I have to turn off and back on to recognize stale port.?

Thanks. I'm going to build it into my ubitx so I can use my kenwood mics with it.

Perhaps you have to go with majority of users, unless your band on7.277 is blocked for ham in your nation.

Thanks Paul for the schematic of the dynamic mic amplifier stage. I'll give this a test run and see how she does. Dale

Baofeng Speaker MIC on Bitx 40

Need Information (help) wiring a Baofeng speaker? MIC to my Bitx 40. Don't really want to use the MIC speaker, will probably just use the 2.5 mm socket un-wired for the speaker plug. So asking about the wiring to the MIC.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dan,

I can¡¯t give you a link I am afraid. I brought it from the electrical retailer, Maplin, in their bankruptcy sale early this summer.

If you can get hold of a similar size case, it is quite a simple matter to add to the depth of the top and sides in CAD software. Just be careful not to increase the size by using drag handles of the object as everything else then becomes too big!

Good luck and be sure to post some pics of your own version!

Re: CAT control #arduino #ubitx

I had it running on 1.097 and it was working with my old laptop just fine, recently loaded V1.1 and also no problem.?
As the loads are the same and only differs in naming you should be fine.
