Re: Blue display, white digits
As long as you're going to replace it, you might check to see if there is an I2C versions, or at least add that board, as that would free up some I/O pins on the Nano for other things. Jack, W8TEE

Re: Bitx40 - receiver works great, but do not transmit #bitx40help
are you still able to receive? does it transmit now? current doesn't always go to 1 amp. That can be adjusted by RV136. This is the drive level. how much output power are you seeing? Marco -

Re: wrong frequency after software change. #ubitx
Michael, and others... Much of the present day Raduino software uses EEPROM to store variables and readings that do not change often. This facilitates using that memory for long-term storage and

Re: Bitx40 - receiver works great, but do not transmit #bitx40help
I check current of transceiver. Whole transceiver in transmission mode, when speaking - 0.85 - 0.9 amp , PA only in transmission mode, when speaking -0.55 - 0.6 amp. This is in top position of RV136

Which version are you having problems with ? I am currently using CEC 1.01 and the only problem I'm having is SSB seems to be off about 500khz . I assumed it was something to do with the Raduino

Re: Blue display, white digits
Almost - you'd have to solder on whatever type connector (male pins or female socket) you'd need to mate with your Raduino but otherwise it should work just fine. Order the 5 volt option as 3.3 might

Re: wrong frequency after software change. #ubitx
I didn't find the uBitx Manager but I used a sketch to clear the EEPROM and that solved the problem. Now I am going to reload Ian's firmware and continue to play. Thanks Mike, Ian. -- 73, Yvon NU6I

I use the AVEN 17010 Adjustable Circuit Board Holder. It’s cheap (although not as cheap as this excellent idea) at $12.50 from Amazon prime. I like it because it gets the board closer to my eyes

This doesn’t have to be so painful. There are good solutions: 1. There are several replacement technologies for the Raduino offered by people on this site. You have the option to buy one

Re: Bitx40 - receiver works great, but do not transmit #bitx40help
Ivan, You are correct. Q 13 seems fine. Since you tested the PA, we need to work backwards in the circuit. Looking at the schematic, Q4 is next, when transmitting. Check the voltages on Q4. If

Thank you MIke and Ian. The eeprom was my first thought but I eliminated it thinking that it would be initialized each time you load a different software. Where can I download the uBitx manager
