Re: PCB Test Points?
Interesting discussion. Hans Summer built the test gear into his QCX transceiver and thats been a huge hit. Just a little extra programming and allowances for traces to be read by the micro. Might

Re: Bitx40/Raduino - no power out
The quiescent drain current through the IRF510 should be set to something around 100ma.
You can measure it directly by putting a meter in line with the 12v supply into the separate power input

Re: AE7EU Top Level PCB Mod
$1million dollars!
<haha>
When I have a better price point, I'll post. Right now, the base cost is
$11 / PCB, no parts. I'm guessing $100 in parts & Assembly, but it's a

Re: Bitx40/Raduino - no power out
Some further information and tests: I adjusted RV1 (the blue pot next to the PA, not RV136) and can adjust the transmit current drawn by the rig from 1.7a (fully CCW) down to 0.31a (roughly centered,

Re: uBITX multiband transceiver
I think there are a lot of ?BITX users who are using their 13.8V power supplies normally used for their 100W transceivers as the power source for their ?BITX's. Check the heat sinks on the PA's to

Re: uBitx receive working...transmit debugging help needed
Sean,
Good trouble shooting.. you can salvage a condenser mic from some old boom box or tape recorder etc.

Re: UBITX Help
#ubitx
It's not necessary to completely remove the BFO crystal. Just remove R101
to disable the original BFO oscillator.

Re: UBITX Help
#ubitx
This is good news, I'll have to get the v2 version installed. So I'll need
to replace the existing BFO crystal and feed the signal from output zero on
the Raduino, am I right?
Thanks
