Re: Adding Raduino to original Bitx 40
Remove L4 to disable the analog VFO. Also a good idea to remove C91 and C92, as Allard's sketch sometimes has the Si5351 VFO operating at 19mhz instead of 5mhz. Then follow the instructions here:

Re: Change from TX offset to RX offset in future code versions?
That seems an excellent idea Willy! Let me think this over - perhaps we can implement this ingenious idea! 73 Allard PE1NWL

I might put the "Do not bend" on it, but I don't really want to lie about it. I'll give it a try. Jack, W8TEE To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, June 2, 2017 10:39 AM Subject: Re: [BITX20] #W8TEE

Adding Raduino to original Bitx 40
Hi all, I got the original Bitx40 then purchased the Raduino add on later. I've only just got time to do something with it but can't find the instructions for connecting the two up, can anyone point

Re: Foreign orders #w8tee
Jack, try this... 1) pick someone on the list that's overseas. 2) call the PO and ask what a 1st class letter would cost to send to them. 3) put a piece of circuitboard (doesn't have to be one of the

Re: 5 pin wire maze connection
No. Do not connect 12v to your black ground wire. The coaxial power connector where 12v from your power supply comes into the rig has three lugs on it. I suggest you remove any wires already soldered

Re: power measure
terry, divide the peak to peak voltage by two times of the square root of 2 = 2 *1.414 and divdide teh result by the antenna impedance = 50 ohms, so 30 Vpp / (2* 1.414) = 30 Vpp /2.82 = 10.606 V rms

Re: Conflicting information
I put a 3" (80mm) brushless 12V fan in the back of my enclosure and found it made a lot of electrical noise. I cured this by putting a 47 ohm 2W resistor in series with it. That took the voltage at

my bitx40 receiver is working well but i have not been able to get out. I thought that i would measure my power o/p so i connected my scope across the antenna connector and got a trace of 30 volts
