Re: Raduino
When you are in the Arduino IDE and uploading the sketch, can you see the TX/RX LED's flashing during the upload? What message(s) do you see issued by the IDE. If the Nano is powered by the USB cable,

Minor but rather important detail, my kit arrived with the two ep

Re: Shooing the harmonics
Jerry,
My earlier posts relate to strong 7.2-7.5 Am stations leaking in because of the 4xVFO harmonic mixing in with 12Mhz IF.
The probe is on the output of the VFO at the mixer toroid: T2

Re: Order has not yet arrived
It does take some time. It can take up to five weeks. Patience. The tracking info is of little help, too. Mine still shows at the airport in india, yet was delivered a week ago or so.

Would help if you could tell us exactly where you are probing, if this is transmit or receive, what signals are present. ?Maybe include a description of what you see on the spectrum analyzer. ?I

Re: Bitx40 another Raduino(?) problem
Hi majcool
Just to make shure
Try analog tuning
1) disconnect the DDS1 connector
2) install L4
3) install a 10k potentiometer on the TUNNING1 conector
and see if the receiver works.
I believe that

Re: Bitx40 another Raduino(?) problem
No. ?The 1mhz problem is not due to bad Nano firmware. ?Not a bad 5v or 3.3v rail. ?There's no way for a reference clock to go from Nano to Si5351, so it's nothing to do with the 125khz startup

Re: Raduino
It is never a good idea to parallel two supplies of different voltages. You may get away with it 999 times out of a 1000…. But!

Hi Jack,
I read your comments about arduino Nano.
Have you downloaded the Nano as installed on the BITX40v3? I tried to
download the simple Blink sketch and it failed. My question is with the

I second Jack's comments. I'm using clone Nanos for several projects in
development and I've never had any issues programming with USB while they
were in circuit, with another power source attached
