Re: The harmonics are out to play
Jerry and pals,

Then I fed my sig-gen at +17dbm into the mixer toroid. And all the ghost

Re: MAR-3SM+ and new display/VFO board coming
I have my board from Qrpguys, and most of the parts should arrive from China in 7-45 days. This is more fun than I've had in years! Thanks Doc.

Re: The harmonics are out to play
I’m looking at the VFO (Raduino) output (not connected to mixer) and the 4th Harmonic is about 33 db down from the main bang.
A low pass filter might be worth a try, but moving the VFO to 19 seems

Raj,
As in post ??/g/BITX20/message/21997 ( /g/BITX20/message/21997 )
Best bet is to move the VFO up to 19mhz, one of Allison's primary criticisms of the Bitx.

Hi! Raj and others,
I feel that the mixer is being bit overdriven in transmit, this might result in some spurii...
EMRFD suggests a level of -10dbm at the transmixer however calculating the stage gain

I was getting bugged by some squawking around 7.145 and got to looking around.

Re: MAR-3SM+ and new display/VFO board coming
The board is being sold by QRPGuys.com. Both of us have been caught off-guard by the response, as they sold out of the first shipment of 50 units in 2 days. I sent them another 50 yesterday, but you

Re: MAR-3SM+ and new display/VFO board coming
Hi Jack ;
Love your work on this analyser, A couple of questions on it;
1/. Is the sketch available online to avoid typing it in manually from the docs?
2/. Is the original PCB for your antenna

Thans Jack,
Is there a copy of the sketch online to save us typing it in manually and getting a lot of error?

The "hot regulator" is normal but not good! One of the best mods you
can make to your Bitx40, is to attach that regulator to a heat sink!
Either a pre-molded aluminum heat sink, or attach it to a

Re: Fan for irf 510
Let the inductor and capacitor filter be close to fan rather than on the
pcb. We need to bypass the noise at the origin itself.You may use 470uF
and 0.1 as a filter set.
