Re: zbitz changes
Thank you Lee for your 2? in the topic, without which we seemed to be in the dark. This seems like a new wave taking shape after "Add my name to the new order list" Cheers wrote:

Re: zbitz changes
I decided to go for the zBitx because I'm really intrigued by the concept of a miniaturized allband allmode trx. I have full faith in the developers that they'll create an amazing product for the

Re: reviving my sbitx v3
Michael, The first step is to verify that the Q10 Drain goes to zero when TX goes to 3 volts (or higher).? If that happens, Q10 is OK.? If not, it is bad. Once Q10 works, verify that the Q9 tab

Re: reviving my sbitx v3
Evan, I have gotten things mostly straightened out, proper voltage to R77, 5.6v to D6, etc. I still get the 3v on Q10 for the Tx signal, but Q9 just doesn't switch. The voltages on the excel sheet

Yes, that is why I sent the picture.? Unfortunately, there is no tracking process for minor revisions, only the major ones, such as DE, V2, V3, and V4.? The V4 has just been announced. With

I just realized your picture does not have RD2 in it. Perhaps different revisions of sBitx V3 ??

Re: sBitx Mic input - assist request
Exactly what I would expect. Interesting that RD2 is not on the schematic. I'm befuddled as to what is happening with my PCB. I should have 11.xx v on either side of LD6. Even more so with the list of

Re: sBitx Mic input - assist request
Hi Rob, I measured my v3 mic input at 11.6 volts with a 12-volt supply, and no mic was connected. Here is the picture of the preamp area: RD2 is not there. If you want a different bias value,

Re: sBitx Mic input - assist request
Well, there ya go! change that resistor to get the bias voltage you prefer and you should be in business!! I didn't have that (to my knowledge) in any radio I have worked on, and I added resistors

Re: sBitx Mic input - assist request
RD2 ? I do not see this resistor on the schematic ( https://github.com/afarhan/sbitx/blob/main/sbitx_v3_production.pdf ) and appears to be in parallel with C29. That would make your answer correct. It

I’m somewhat incredulous that people would urge a complete redesign of a product that is potentially days away from shipping, likely already built. The only issue is how to manage upgrades,

The Raspberry Pi Pico is $4. The Pico 2 (a newer version with more CPU power and flash memory) is $5. The wireless variants are an extra $2 but I don't think the zBitx is using one; it already has
