Re: CW short?
Hi Bob,
If this is an sbitx, the current requirement when transmitting can exceed 6 amps. ?This depends on the drive setting.

Re: New Problem with uBitx V6.1. After a long period of transmission, rig stays in transmit mode
At times, the RFI keeps the relays on. Check that the swr is lower than 2.0

Re: Tuning knob
Bob,
You'd need to verify that the dimensions will work for you/your radio. 32 mm diameter knob, 13 mm deep. These fit 6 mm shaft diameter.

Re: Tuning knob
Choose a nicely sized washer & glue it to the edge of the front of the dial - use epoxy or maybe super glue.? Antique Electronic Supply has a very good assortment of knobs, they may have something

Re: CW short?
Have you selected the key? There are 3 options.
The key has a voltage of 3.3V, which is connected to the RPi, so the key should not introduce voltage into the device!

Re: Pi Zero Build for sBitx Available
There is nothing to be gained in moving to pi5 except of course twice as
much heat. You will neither receive more signals nor transmit further.
Unless a new mode comes out that needs LLM grade

I have recently noticed a problem with transmission on my uBitx V6.1. When
I transmit for long periods, the unit seems to hang up in transmit mode.
I note on my wattmeter that there seems to be a low

Why are you sticking with the old version? The current 64-bit version is 4.301, which you can install on a new uSD card.
