Re: no transmit sbitx v3
It's working. I replaced defective resistors R20 and R48 and decided to swap out the driver transistors Q12-15 since I had some new units available. The old transistors tested good but with less gain

Re: sBITX V3 output 6 watts
And of course this is assuming you have the issue where you can increase power level to a reasonable level by moving the OS volume slider up during transmit.

Re: sBITX V3 output 6 watts
So here is what I wound up doing that significantly increased my output power on my sBitx V3.? That is without having to move the volume slider up each and every time I transmitted. I backed up the

Re: sBITX V3 output 6 watts
Andy, a similar case has already been written here on the forum. According to my memory, the capacitor in the output filter was at fault. Try searching for it. -- Gyula HA3HZ

Re: RD06HHF1 Amp Gain
Hi Farhan, Thank you for the note. First things first... My current test is a stand alone test of the three stage PA the I built. It is essentially the same as the bitx40 module with an 2N2219A,

Re: RD06HHF1 Amp Gain
An acceptable figure for 2 tone imdr is that all the distortion products should be 24 db below the tones. Being 24 dB below each tone implies you are 30 dB below the peak envelope power. -

Re: RD06HHF1 Amp Gain
Dean, The sbitx has a built-in 2 tone generator mode for exactly this. [email protected]> wrote:
