Re: BItx40 kit
OK Bryan, so far out of 1000's sold I read yours the first relay complaint.

Only keep in mind that the standard relay numbering of OMRON and others is different from the BITX40 numbering. OMRON coil is numbered as 1-16 but BITX as 8-9. It is highly unlikely that both relays failed. Please send a photo of the relay from the top. I think the boards have VIRTUAL VRS2H. At 21/05/2017, you wrote:

What are those connectors called, We use HE14 connectors at work, but they are different, could do with a set. Phil - G7BZD On Sun, May 21, 2017 at 12:16 PM, Allard PE1NWL <pe1nwl@...> wrote: The standard BITX40 board doesn't come with a connector for those pins. |

I just soldered the wires directly to the board. But of course you could install a connector for those pins if you want to. 73 Allard PE1NWL On Sun, May 21, 2017 13:00, terryhugheskirkcudbright via Groups.Io wrote:

Thats right, thru plated holes to the one side of the 5 way connector. Phil - G7BZD On Sun, May 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM, terryhugheskirkcudbright via Groups.Io <terryhugheskirkcudbright@...> wrote:

Would also like a scan feature, could it be done from separate UP & DOWN buttons. I know that may be a bit more involved, or not ? Just happen to use a microphone that has UP & DOWN buttons. Also is there a version that has the S meter in the code. Phil - G7BZD On Sun, May 21, 2017 at 5:06 AM, CX8ABF Carlos Molina <cx8abf@...> wrote:

Re: BItx40 kit
Does your board have OMRON relays? Mine has some other brand.

The PIN numbers of the relays is based on a 16 pin IC socket. So it is 1- 3- 5 --8 16-14-12--9 At 21/05/2017, you wrote:

Re: BItx40 kit
Dear BITX owners
Just built BITX40 kit all went ok some squark on speaker when turning audio down , and PPT noise . but my gripe is the fake OMRON relays both failed on receive ( no contact from fixed pin to receive pin on both relays . The BITX kit producer is not doing his business any good supplying shoddy equipment so I cannot see how my kit board was ever tested prior to sending? Bryan Watson VK7KWB

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi all ? I recently bought the Raduino upgrade kit. I don¡¯t know what version software is on it but it chugs as I turn the turn the tuning dial ¨C chug, chug, chug ? Does the latest software fix this problem and what other features can I expect that are different? ? Thanks Peter ? ? Sent from for Windows 10 ? From: Jerry Gaffke via Groups.Io

Triple check how you wired up that connection from Nano-A6 to C107. ? Measure the resistor you have inline, make sure it is 47k. ?Put a voltmeter across C107, measure the voltage there. ?Compare notes with somebody who has a working rig. ?I'd guess it should be a couple hundred millivolts with key down. ?Zero volts with key up. ?
