Re: BItx40 kit

OK Bryan, so far out of 1000's sold I read yours the first relay complaint.
Only keep in mind that the standard relay numbering of OMRON and others is different
from the BITX40 numbering. OMRON coil is numbered as 1-16 but BITX as 8-9.

It is highly unlikely that both relays failed.

Please send a photo of the relay from the top.

I think the boards have VIRTUAL VRS2H.

The PIN numbers of the relays is based on a 16 pin IC socket. So it is

16-14-12--9

What are those connectors called, We use HE14 connectors at work, but they are different, could do with a set.

I just soldered the wires directly to the board. But of course you could
install a connector for those pins if you want to.

Thats right, thru plated holes to the one side of the 5 way connector.

Re: Scan feature, need coding help

That is one nice element of Shuttle Tuning, just a turn either way and it starts to scan. Speed determined by how far you turn. de ND6T

Re: uk customs

?Have had DHL perform tax collection on goods delivered here in Israel before. Avoid them like the plague, snail mail usually VAT free for anything $75 dollars?or less. Still waiting for my BIT40X arrive its been 4.5 weeks so far but nothing yet arrived.

Not only did they had masks, also a double barrel over under pointed at me for 35 Euro ;)

Re: Scan feature, need coding help

Would also like a scan feature, could it be done from separate UP & DOWN buttons.
I know that may be a bit more involved, or not ?

Just happen to use a microphone that has UP & DOWN buttons.

Also is there a version that has the S meter in the code.

The way you set things up will only execute the scan() routine once (when you press the FB 4 times).
You need to call the scan() routine from the loop() routine so that it is executed repeatedly. You could create an additional mode (for example MODE_SCAN) for this so that the standard doTuning() is not executed while you are in scan mode.

If many users think this is a useful feature we could perhaps include it in the next version. Any votes?

If you are on Github, please create a fork so that I can merge your code once you got it running.

Hi all

?

I recently bought the Raduino upgrade kit. I don¡¯t know what version software is on it but it chugs as I turn the turn the tuning dial ¨C chug, chug, chug

?

Does the latest software fix this problem and what other features can I expect that are different?

?

Thanks Peter

Also, the voltage on the Nano-D6 end of that 47k resistor should go from zero to 5 volts when you press the key.

Triple check how you wired up that connection from Nano-A6 to C107. ? Measure the resistor you have inline, make sure it is 47k. ?Put a voltmeter across C107, measure the voltage there. ?Compare notes with somebody who has a working rig. ?I'd guess it should be a couple hundred millivolts with key down. ?Zero volts with key up. ?
