Re: VK4PP uBitx LPF BANK add-on Board
Ok. Ive ordered 10 boards for testing. I will also try to get it working in combintation with a QRP-Labs relay board and BPF in the 30Mhz LPF spot for spur reduction. Effectively turning it into a 5

Re: Stone Soup
Arv, Anyone that thinks they can make a trap that works over a 2mhz range is also selling bridges.? The trap fpr 10M alone would ahve to snuff 15-17mhz. When you get to that point a band pass filter

Re: K5BCQ uBITX Relay Switched LPF/BPF board
I'll make the Gerbers available after they have been tested. These board suppliers who offer the "10 of the 100mm x 100mm boards for $2? plus scoring and shipping" may also receive a "bubble" of

Re: stone soup ingredient list, what bands and modes are usable
Allison Thanks. That could help others who can work on things but may not have the really expensive test equipment to do final verification tests on their work. It also could to better inform those

Re: Stone Soup
Bill Probably depends on how much software is required versus how much room is available in the Arduino RAM space. Thoughts here run toward using frequency versus a look-up table to set PWM output

Re: stone soup ingredient list, what bands and modes are usable
Arv, The repetition of material has reached the level of just one more time for something on the order of N>5. When I get a chance I'll put it in the fine wiki. Does anyone for spurs over 20mhz

Bill You are probably correct. I do exchange emails occasionally with Farhan but he has been quiet about what is next and when that may happen. I think he has lots of other activities going on in

Re: Stone Soup
Hi Arv, The real issue about those tunable traps is the raduino won't tune them. Or can it!? Much the same as a tunable preselector. Or plug-in one-at-a-time low pass filters. Doable yes. Make

Re: Ubitx version 4 speaker impedance?
The TDA audio ic used in the earlier uBITX was designed to be used with 32 ohm headphones. The new version 4 has a different audio output stage that should be fine with 8 ohm and possibly 4 ohm

Re: K5BCQ uBITX Relay Switched LPF/BPF board
Kees If not already done, someone needs to tell Hans that he is about to get a lot more orders for QRP-Labs filter boards. Or...are you going to make bare boards available in the same form factor so

Re: Stone Soup
In your case I would really recommend the BitX40 kit: Low-cost, rock-stable and FCC compliant. With a few minimal mods you can add most of the features that commercial rigs have. See

Hello Ripley, The first thing is that all this still needs to be tested to see how well it works by someone with good test equipment. Warren volunteered since he has a very nice setup and I'm sending
