You're usually better off buying from their website rather than their ebay
store. www.taydaelectronics.com

Yes Tom, I am using a velocity factor of .8 for the foam core RG6. The stub is around 7.9 meters. The antenna is coated wire. Listened late with nothing heard, but did roam up and down the band a

Re: U3 on W8TEE Schemtic
In?B40AssemblyManual03.doc R1 is listed as 10 ohm not 82, is this correct? (8-5)/10 = 300ma, correct? Whereas (8-5)/82 = 37ma.

Re: 2 and 3 pin connectors used with Bitx40 sad board
Don't even think of trying to *pull* a wire out of that crimp! I have success UNcrimping with judicious use of small side-cutters, approaching the crimp along the wire's path into the crimp, while

thanks for the info Randy. Are you taking the VF of the RG-6 into account for the stub? You have excellent bandwidth on that puppy! What AWG wire, coated or bare?

Tom, I'm using a delta loop. I did some tuning on it today and ended up with a really nice swr curve. Using a 1/4 electrical wavelength sub of RG6 quad shield for matching. It seemed to work fairly

Re: 2 and 3 pin connectors used with Bitx40 sad board
I have three of the hand crimp tools from Molex and at $350 each a $50 tool would be a joy to purchase. The Molex tools are for government level work, you will break the wire before you can pull it

Re: Subject: Connectors - board to device
This is the only answer that is right:?KF2510 - The Molex KK 254 are not the same, JST XH~ not even close - Just search on KF2510 and buy 50 for $2.

I'm set up outside with an EFHW, 9:1 UN-UN, Elecraft T1 auto-tuner, and a 12 V battery. I could hear a strong stations on other frequencies but just murmurs on 7277 kHz so far.

Thanks for the contacts. The band is really noisy with lots of static crashes and QSB.?
May try again in a few minutes to see if I can hear
