Re: zBitx installed softwares
I was an early uBITX fanboy. And I am a huge Farhan fanboy. So much to like here.? If JS8Call and Winlink had a baby, it would be VarAC. The evolving VarAC application is a killer diller if you like

Re: SBITx with Heil headset?
Hi kc5kwz
I'm assuming you are running your radio from +12 VDC or +13 or so -- if you
are measuring +9 on the mic that means they have already added a resistor
to ground to lower the DC bias voltage.

Re: SBITx with Heil headset?
Gordon, the mic supply voltage on my sBitx DE is showing 9v. The mic you are using shows operating voltage of 2v.
All you did was add the resistor right?
The mic I am using is one that came with the

Re: Setting grid sBitx
Thanks folks. That’s what I get for reading instructions. After I posted I found the button on the screen. All good now. Thanks.

Sorry for snooping into the code but

So here is a piece about one of Heil dynamic headsets. You can see that they quote an output impedance of 500 ohms.
The DC impedance may even be lower.
What this

Re: SBITx with Heil headset?
Thanks. I have a dynamic Mike headset, so I’m not worried about the bias voltage. What I really need to know is what adapter to use.

Setting grid sBitx
I’m on a POTA activation 3000 miles from home, and I need to set my grid correctly. It’s still showing my home grid after entering \grid EM73wp multiple times.

Hello Farhan,
Thank you for sharing the details of the zBITX project with us.
The zBITX Front Panel Schematic seems to be missing.
Could you share that too ?
