Re: Automatic antenna tuner (N7ddc) and loop antenna
Hi Gerards, Have You seen this project? https://sites.google.com/site/lofturj/to-automatically-tune-a-magnetic-loop-antenna Regards, Jonas Den tors 12 nov. 2020 kl 14:36 skrev Gerard

Re: Automatic antenna tuner (N7ddc) and loop antenna
Otherwise, I wonder if the change in the value of the capacitor on the LOOP antenna, will not actually cause a runaway system....because autmatic Tuner will adapt new value, etc Another track to dig

Automatic antenna tuner (N7ddc) and loop antenna
Hello, look the datasheet of this automatic tuner antenna https://static-eu.insales.ru/images/products/1/959/266920895/2.jpg When I look at this diagram, we see a set of selfs and capacitors that are

Re: New to list
Thanks Jerry, Concerning the tx, we are not working on HF ham bands. We'll use an experimental license (if it works ok without the SSB filter), in order to carry the HF wide-band experiment. Rafael

Re: PA rx/tx and swr protection connection to ubitx / arduino nano
Thanks a lot, Reed. One pin will be enough. As soon as I finish the swr protection circuit I send here - one idea is just to signal the "cut-off" signal, other will be send a signal in voltage range

Re: Kicad files
Evan, Thanks You have also this one http://f6hcc.free.fr/hw8.htm With some modifications to do, etc? but it's an old time!!! LOL Use ggogle translate for english Have a nice day cdt

Re: Kicad files
Gerard, The HW-8 was a kit from Heathkit for a QRP direct conversion transceiver.? Here is an English page for a description: https://sites.google.com/site/g3xbmqrp3/hf/hw8 73 Evan AC9TU

Re: Kicad files
hello, Hw-8. I dont know what is it? Is it a fabrication of this style? A Heathkit year 80? I would really like to see a similarly placed, larger layout with through hole components? >>> That

Re: PA rx/tx and swr protection connection to ubitx / arduino nano
Hi Rafael, A7 is analog input that isn't currently used in the stock code, but could be used to read a binary signal if you wanted. You'd probably want to leverage the existing T/R output to activate

Re: Calibrated now no receive.. Ubitx V6
I'm glad to hear you're up and running again! I'm a little confused by the "Locosc from your setting of 110553300" statement, since that number looks more like a BFO calibration number than a local

Re: New to list
Might work on FM (?) since FM Broadcast requires greater bandwidth. Have to get tricky in other ways too, though. I had a Yaesu FT-100 and while it would receive in the FM broadcast band, the stations

Re: New to list
Rafael, Bypassing the SSB filter would make the receiver be wideband, but you would lose single signal reception.? You will hear signals on both sides of?the BFO, not just one side as you do with

Re: Calibrated now no receive.. Ubitx V6
Reed N Thank you very much for the push in the right direction. Your baseline settings (brilliant idea btw) put me right on track. The BFO was spot on and I had to adjust the Locosc from your setting

PA rx/tx and swr protection connection to ubitx / arduino nano
Hi all, I'm like to add to the ubitx a PA and swr protection circuit. I realized all the pins in arduino nano are taken, is this correct? Which paths you suggest I should go to connect control signals

Re: Need new v4 raduino to work with green display #ft8 #arduino #bitx20 #bitx20help #digital
I've RFed an Arduino Uno in the past and scrambled it. Had to reprogram it and it was fine afterward. Give it a try rewriting it. When I RFed the Uno some of the functions were still working, just not

Re: Calibrated now no receive.. Ubitx V6
If you're using my software, there is no computer backup feature, and you can reset all. That said, I would recommend you note the current values for your own reference. For calibrating, have you

New to list
Hi everybody, I bought two ubitx v6, and now I'm waiting them to arrive. One question about wideband operation - if I bypass the SSB filter, could I get a clean 15kHz wide operation? Thanks, Rafael

Calibrated now no receive.. Ubitx V6
After several attempts at calibrating and was close I did one last one and now have no receive. Only tried for 5 hours.... Also when I hook the unit up to the computer it doesn't show up. Have tried 3

Re: Segmentation Fault
Mark That "segmentation fault" would seem to be happening in your computer or in the Visual Studio software you are using to compile code for your Arduino. This seems unusual because we usually see
