Re: TX vs received frequency tweak help... #calibration #ubitx-help
I should have mentioned, do not put anything in the "CW Freq Adjust Value" box. That will add to the offset you have already selected when you set the CW Side Tone elsewhere. =Vic=

Re: TX vs received frequency tweak help... #calibration #ubitx-help
This bothered me as well, as the TX is offset by the amount that you have set your CW tone for. I think it might have been better to offset the receive in CW mode, and Dr. Lee has provided that option

Re: How to connect ubitx microphone jack to soundcard output
There is a dc blocking cap in the ubitx circut, c60, you don't need another. I used a pair of audio transformers to isolate the radio signals, one on the mic side and one on the input side to the

Re: How to connect ubitx microphone jack to soundcard output
Thanks k5ess Frequency rolloff can be calculated using standard formulas for an RC network. Good practice for the radio amateur. Depends on the resistance of the input circuit you were driving with

Re: What have I done to the receive? Weird screech? #ubitx
So I swapped out my lm386 thinking that I might have blown it. Now I get ALL the am frequencies. Any ideas on what to fix next? ?Video included.

I am still fighting to get this working. While installing the first level converter I somehow managed to burn the Teensy controller- so I had to wait for the new one. In fact this project uses the

Good info. I just received mine and wish the wireup on the hf website was updated. There is no mic and earphone jack hookup and mine came with a .1 capacitor. I found out where to put it on another

Re: TX vs received frequency tweak help... #calibration #ubitx-help
I'm not an expert, but that makes sense to me. In order for you to hear a tone from a continuous wave, you have to send it at a frequency offset from the receive frequency. 780 is a pretty typical

I am not using the CEC firmware. Still the archaic firmware of early 2018. I am aware the CEC firmware is better but this simple hardware solution works great with my current setup. Il 05/mar/2019

Are you using the cec firmware? I'm using that, and I think cec made the CW code work a bit better than the original .? Either way I'm glad you found a good solution!
