Hi Vince, I bet with the key up is still goes to zero accurately. SWR is a RATIO so about half of whatever maximum deflection shows is still 3:1. And less is still less. 73, Bill KU8H

Right, well this firebird isn't even usable as an swr meter unless you put about a kilowatt into it. In the FWD, the meter won't go full scale below about 14 MHz. Vince.
