New VK4PLN Audio Daughter Board + BCI
Hi Everyone. I am working on a new board that will give a few extra features to stock uBitx. Its an Audio board providing easy access to Audio I/O pins. (add in your own AGC board, External

Re: Connector Error in Schematic #bitx20help #bitx40help
Yes, the pin numbering for the 16 pin Raduino connector? is swapped end-for-end on the Raduino schematic vs how it is shown on both versions of the uBitx schematic. That's unfortunate. In both

Connector Error in Schematic #bitx20help #bitx40help
The schematic diagram for the "B? ubitx" board (base board for Arduino Nano, Si Labs oscillator, LCD...) has an error at the P3 connector, "OSCILLATORS." The pin numbers are in reverse order and thus

Re: ubitx assembly confusion, help needed
For the 3.5mm jacks, get a plug. Verify tip and ring connections by multimeter, plug it in and verify the socket's tabs. Simple, Simon :) 73 Dex, ZL2DEX

Re: SDR as Waterfall display
I think mine bottoms out at 52mhz but I can probably put the rf through the direct sample mod on the rtlsdr. I assume if I transmit that the RF is not going to go directly into the sdr as in the rf

Re: SDR as Waterfall display
I have not tried it,but from the circuit description the first conversion is at 45 MHz. I would try laying a short insulated wire near Q10. You may even be able to tap off the emitter of q12 with a

SDR as Waterfall display
I noticed that the CEC firmware has an SDR mode but this seems to be where the audio as as well are transmitted to the SDR and handled there. Seems to be a good method for digital or recording but is

Re: Ideas for AM, NB FM Demod and CW filter board
You can¡¯t transmit with a rtl-SDR dongle. But they make great pan adapters for the bitx line. I will use one with my units when I start to build it. Joe KD2NFC

Re: ubitx assembly confusion, help needed
David, There are small brackets and screws to mount the USB PC board. The brackets are painted the same color as the case. The next board is used to connect the fuse holder to the on/off switch. The

Re: ubitx assembly confusion, help needed
Sorry everyone. I should not post messages from my cell phone. The second paragraph is: the Inkits case comes with three bare small PCBs. One for a RS232 and USB connector. However, it seems to me

Re: I would like to chat with someone that has set there ubtx up with a raspberry pi and is using fl digi,
Can it work even without agc? Would u use the speaker output of the Ubitx or would u take the audio somewhere else? [email protected]> ha scritto:

Re: boosting the power on 28 MHz #ubitx
With all the work in progress by different people, I'll just wait patiently until a design is settled on, and some enterprising entrepreneur creates a parts kit with all the required bits and bobbins

Re: boosting the power on 28 MHz #ubitx
Arv, Thats a path I'm following.? The first step was to get enough drive to get 10W at 10M then its easier to tamp down the gain at lower bands to that level.? Least it would seem that way. Back to

Re: Ideas for AM, NB FM Demod and CW filter board
Although having the ability to xmit AM etc would be nice, perhaps foregoing xmitting and including a simple AM detector circuit so the receive section could also be a general coverage SW receiver. It

I'm using V4.3? and when I enabled VFO B it started to remember were I was on both. Made it easier to put 3.8 in a and 28.4 in B and bounce back and forth. Allison

I have tried a 5, 7 and 10.1 inch display and the 7" was better and largest is way better for reading and touch.? The 5" however if I scaled the screen such that few objects were there or allowed for

Re: I would like to chat with someone that has set there ubtx up with a raspberry pi and is using fl digi,
I'll stick one in the mail. Definitely no $$. Wow, I'm embarrassed. I've been struggling getting my pi/ubitx going and Vince mentioned YouTube. I didn't even think of that! ?Lots of help there. Most

Re: UBitx
Maybe I over simplified the question of what Al is wanting to do. You can store frequencies for VFO_A and VFO_B by toggling between the VFOs ... this won't be the "last" frequency, but the last that
