Re: No RF Power Output From Bitx40
It sounds like the IRF510 is bad. Do you have a transistor tester to check it? They are very sensitive. I still have not put my radio together, but a bought 10 IRF510s to experiment with and to have

Re: 80m hexfet power amplifier by W7ZOI
Dear Farhan, I'm now building the PA but I'm in doubt about the two unmarked capacitors at each side of the input attenuator, should I use 0.1uF each? Thanks. Dan, HK4DEI

Re: A suitable case ?
It's been posted before, but I still think this is a nice case. https://www.banggood.com/Electronic-Plastic-Shell-Cartridge-Handle-Project-Case-Desk-Instrument-200x175x70mm-p-1035473.html?rmmds=search

Fits like a Glove! Jameco, I like them. They upped the price a buck since I bought. Warning, the Bottom (White) is Al. But, the Top (Black) IS STEEL. I know, I put my speaker there! No Nibbling on the

Re: No RF Power Output From Bitx40
Ok, just tested it. I have 12v on pin 3 when I key up the mic and I get 5v out on pin 1 when I key up the mic.

Re: Raduino v1.18 (improved CW performance) released
Yes the setting at 40Hz is off a bit and same with 50Hz it seems like if i could find a middle ground all would be spot on. David

Raj: Thanks for the tip. I wonder if there would be enough space for Jack Purdum's TFT display?

Hi David, you mentioned your BitX is 45Hz off, did the calibration procedure not work for you? Or do you mean that the 10Hz precision of calibration procedure is not sufficient? Calibration currently

Is there a circuit diagram with 'hovers' over the components? My eyesight and computer schema do not lend well to viewing the diagram at hfsigs.

Re: Raduino v1.18 (improved CW performance) released
Can we add fine tune as a option that can turn on and off in the normal mode settings w/o the "tune" button? I also noted in my Bitx I am about 45Hz off so I either get 40 or 50Hz I can't fine tune
