HI Andrew,

OK. ?You¡¯re essentially wanting a VOX control. ?Although the acronym means ¡°voice operated transmit¡±, commercial rigs often apply the VOX term to CW and digital operation as well.

I¡¯m thinking we could have the name of the control be ¡°VOX¡± in voice modes and ¡°BK IN¡± (for Break In) in CW and digital modes. ?The biggest challenge is where to put the control. ?I¡¯ve been considering an option in software to change the multiple band buttons to one button that scrolls through the bands, much like the MODE button does with modes. ?This would regain some screen real estate for other uses. ?

Going on a real tangent, I have an idea for significantly changing the button arrangement. ?It would be optional in software. ?I¡¯m going to explore this in the coming weeks.

I will put the VOX/BK IN control on my to do list¡.

Hey Anthony, thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delay in replying to you.

I was thinking something on the GUI?that says lock. This would help prevent accidental transmit when typing into the command line of the sBITx. Or even a shortcut key like ctl alt L, and maybe some red letters that show up over the waterfall stating TX LOCK as an indicator.

I don¡¯t know if this helps or not.
