On second thought, I'd also use thumbscrews or something similar to attach the handle to the case to avoid having the handle allow the radio moving forward or backward. Also, rubber washers about 1/16th inch between the handle and the radio case would further keep the handle from shifting after tightening the thumbscrews.

Just a thought.

Simple but nice Lee. ?Having several 3D printers and become semi-proficient with Fusion 360, I considered doing a folding stand myself, but now, there's no need for me to do that - Thanks for the .stl files. ?If you have them, I'd consider putting some of those stick-on rubber feet (or designing some 3mm holes into the bottom of the handle to add sticky rubber feet which will keep the handle from sliding as it's used for the stand (shorten the handle up by about 10 millimeters too so the uBITX's back foot sits more firmly on the surface. ?That will help keep it from sliding around. ?Just a thought or two.

Nice job, no matter what though.

I got bored staying home due to Covid-19 so I used Tinkercad to draw up these accessories.? The carrying handle doubles as a stand.? The knob inserts bulge up.? I attached the .stl files if you would like to print your own in your favorite color.
