Hi all,
Impromptu rides welcome for December!
I am sad to report that we will not be able to lead our Christmas lights ride this year. I (Laurie) managed to fracture my ankle a couple weeks ago and today my Physical Therapist said I would not be ready to ride before Christmas ?.

Laurie: Sorry to hear about ankle fracture. I broke my left ankle back in May, and won't be back on bike till spring. Limited weight bearing now. At least I can still drive. Get well quickly.? Bill Lockwood

My scooter has a basket on front. Cane hangs nicely from handlebars. My handlebar bag is on my walker. Bases covered.?

Sorry about the fracture.? It will get better! This note is to inform our friends on tandem bicycles that we have moved to upstate New York (Saugerties 12477).? We have not been on the tandem since Sharon’s hip replacement surgery last Spring.? I ride with my grandson’s on single.? Sharon is having significant memory problems related to her TBI 6 yrs ago when T boned on the tandem.? My goal is to maintain independence and with close proximity of family it is working.?
Email and telephone numbers are unchanged. We are in the middle of ski country and have plenty of room for visitors for anybody coming our way. Best to all this holiday season. ?

I am jealous of the XC skiing, but the tandem riding may be a bit chilly.
Why not try a tadpole tandem?
When our balance goes as we age, maybe AI steering will keep us upright.
